I constantly get told that I'm too nice. That I need to learn to stand up for myself. That I need to say what I think. So why is it that the second I push back on anything or advocate for myself, people get upset? If I'm sweet and meek and positive all the time, they tell me I need to be more assertive, but when I am, I'm in the wrong. Make it make sense, please.
